“PSYCHOLOGY OF LEGISLATIVE REPORTING” By Dr. Olaniyi Opanuga, FNIPM, COPOM(c) :A Paper published in the National Newspapers, notably National Concord in June, 2020 was delivered by Dr.Olaniyi Opanuga, Director General, The Certified Institute of Applied Management And Administration (CIAMA) and President/Chairman of Council, Nigerian Institute of Production Management (NIPM is available as part of the Learning Resource for Members and Students of both Institutions.
Dr Opanuga’s made this historic contribution over 20 years ago as a Consultant/Resource Person at a Seminar organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary and Clerk of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA) with the Theme: “LEGISLATIVE REPORTING IN A FLEDGLING DEMOCRACY” held at the Women Development Centre, Ogba, Lagos on Wednesday, 31st May, 2000.
The Programme anchored by Mr.’Wole Gbadamosi, JP. was declared open by Hon.(Dr.) Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamowora, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA).
The the three key paper presentations were made by Alhaji Lamidi A. Gbadamosi,mni, Permanent Secretary/Clerk of the House of Assembly, Lagos State who spoke on “LEGISLATIVE PROCEDURES/ TERMINOLOGIES”.
The second speaker was Mr. Jimmy Kayode, Director, Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos who presented a paper titled: “THE ROLE OF THE MEDIA IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM”.
The third and the last paper titled: “PSYCHOLOGY OF LEGISLATIVE REPORTING” was presented by Dr. Olaniyi Opanuga, FNIPM, FCIAM, COPOM(c) in his capacity as the Provost, College of Production & Operations Management (COPOM), Director General, Nigerian Institute of Production Management ( NIPM) and the National Coordinator, Centre for Strategic Development and Editorial Consultant/ Columnist,Concord Press Ltd.
