The food and beverages manufacturing sub-sector utilizes value addition technique involving food processing, packaging and branding, sales, distribution and marketing.

At NIPM much emphasis is placed on professional skills sets for improved quality, safety, hygiene, productivity, waste reduction and operational efficiency.

Local manufacturing of agricultural equipment and food or agro-processing equipment including the high-tech machines at considerable costs and with due consideration for product quality and safety is being advocated by Nigerian Institute of Production Management – NIPM.
