As a division of Nigerian Institute of Production Management (NIPM) our members, trainees and graduates are constantly focused on improving supply chain performance and operational efficiency, effectiveness and productivity, inventory, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, transportation, distribution and delivery of customer experiences.

NIPM is concerned about supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, transportation, warehousing, purchasing, product development and others because they are operational processes. The planning, organization, direction, control and

co-ordinating of all processes and the improvement of systems which include supply chain (a system of producing and delivering a product or service from end-to-end) is what operations management all about. NIPM regulates the standards of professional practice of production and operations management in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
