As part of its efforts to drive high standards of performance in industry the Nigerian Institute of Production Management (NIPM) has designed an enduring mechanism for testing competence based on a very comprehensive syllabus and curriculum, hinged on Industry needs.

Hence, intending members shall sit for examinations as from November 2020.

The examinations will be administrated in the following categories:

Basic Production/Operations Certification for factory/farm/construction/mining/oil & gas, energy and allied service workers at the lowest operational level.

Production/Operations Supervision Certification for persons to be engaged in supervising production/operations work at the group/team level

Advanced Production/Operations Supervision Certification for persons to be engaged in the supervision and control of operatives at sectional or departmental level.

Middle Production/Supply Chain And Operations Management Certification (ANIPM, MPSCOM) for persons to be engaged in overseeing the work team leaders, supervisors in production technical services/ R&D, quality control, environmental safety, engineering, maintenance, stores/ warehouse, planning, logistics, customer service and allied operations.

Production, Supply Chain and Operations Management Certification (ANIPM, PSCOM) for persons to be engaged as managers to oversee functions across the organizations supply chain including production, purchasing procurement and materials management, logistics, HSE, material facilities maintenance, sales and operations planning, distribution and customer service.
