To become a member you need to write certification exams, take a short course, complete a diploma programme or gain exemption (direct membership), if you have a similar qualification or have minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior operations management.
Individual Membership – General Requirements
Applicants for individual membership are required to have:
1. Passed any of the NIPM professional certification exams or equivalent (OR)
2. Completed a professional diploma, advanced diploma or a PGD course (OR)
3. Received a certificate of course completion (OR)
4. Been granted exemption thereof:
Exemption fees: Associate #20,000, Full Member #35,000.
To qualify for exemption an applicant must be director, general manager or a senior manager with not less than 10 years postgraduate experience or evidence of NIPM Training Workshop attendance (whereat professional standards, values and ethics were taught)
5. Honourary members may be registered without any of the above conditions. Same fee as full member is payable.
6. Annual subscription is payable; Half of registration fee.

Membership certificate is renewable every 2 years
